Position Summary:

The Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager is responsible for mentoring, growing and developing sales consultants, managing inventories, sales processes and procedures to achieve all sales performance objectives. The pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager is an advocate in providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of the market, and an in-depth understanding of all sales department operations as well as strong customer relations skills.

This Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager position will primarily be responsible for growing used vehicle sales and providing daily support to the new and used Vehicle Sales Team. You will be actively prospecting for new business and ensuring all customers receive an exceptional buying experience. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of the market, and an in-depth understanding of all sales department operations as well as strong customer relations skills.

The Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager is expected to uphold the highest ethical standards, lead with enthusiasm, and inspire the best in others – EVERYDAY!

Requirements:

· Relevant post-secondary education; formal leadership development training

· Competent with Windows and Microsoft Office programs

· Proven experience in managing sales team activities and managing sales leads using a CRM solution

· A minimum of 5 years retail and/or business to business sales experience

· A minimum of 3 years sales management experience

· Demonstrated record of accomplishment in achieving sales goals and leading a sales team

· Must meet federal, provincial and company requirements for employment

· Must have a valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record

Duties and responsibilities

Under the direction of the Parts Manager, you are responsible for:

· Picking and packing orders with a high attention to detail

· Unpacking, inspecting, and sorting incoming parts, supplies and materials

· Sorting parts and stocking them in the correct locations

· Inventory reconciliation

· Verifying parts orders to ensure they are correct before shipment

· Communicating missing or damaged stock and short shipment situations

· Other duties as assigned

The Shipper/Receiver must be reliable, motivated and will possess exceptional customer service skills. A valid Class 5 drivers license is required. Forklift certification is an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Service Manager, you are responsible to :

· Drive customers to their home or work and pick them up once service work on their vehicle has been completed.

· Keep an accurate shuttle log recording trips, including the names of customers and their destination and pick up point.

· Assist customers in and out of vehicles

· Demonstrate safe and courteous driving skills at all times

· Perform pre-trip inspection of shuttle vehicle

· Advise the Service Manager or Tower Operator of any servicing the shuttle vehicle requires

· Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license with a current, clean drivers abstract

· Ability to drive in all types of road/weather conditions

· Excellent knowledge of the city

· Exceptional customer service skills

· Maintain the cleanliness of the shuttle vehicle

· Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on vehicles with a focus on Ford models.
· Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems among others.
· Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnostic work.
· Demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment.

Qualifications
Journeyman Mechanic Status or equivalent experience
Must hold a valid driver’s license
